We are seeking Solar PV & Heat Pump Design Engineers to support the development of a pipeline of renewable energy projects throughout the UK. This role involves engineering and designing solar PV, battery storage, and heat pump solutions, working alongside an in-house team of sales, operations, and installers.
What you will do:
- Support and up-skill sales teams
- Design systems for domestic and commercial applications
- Create engineering drawings using Solar Software and CAD for feasibility and optimized systems
- Understand renewable products to select appropriate equipment and materials
- Balance project delivery efficiency with optimal output
What you\’ll need:
- At least 1 year of solar design experience
- Optional: Heat Pump and/or EV design experience
- Electrical experience
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and solar software such as PVSOL, Easy-PV, or Open Solar
- Strong Microsoft/Google Office skills
- Knowledge of UK design and building standards
