Are you a highly organised and experienced Programme Manager who thrives on turning strategy into reality? Are you skilled at managing complex projects in a fast-paced, operational environment? Our Fleet Operations team is the beating heart of our business, responsible for everything from vehicle logistics and preparation, to ensuring a seamless handover to our customers. As we continue our rapid growth, the complexity of these operations increases. We are looking for a Programme Manager to take ownership of key initiatives that will drive our operational excellence.

Reporting directly to the Fleet Operations Director, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of a portfolio of projects that are critical to our success and ability to scale.

Responsibilities

  • Be the central point of coordination for key initiatives within Fleet Operations
  • Lead and manage a portfolio of key operational projects from initial concept and business case through to successful delivery and handover
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive programme plans, including timelines, milestones, budgets, and resource allocation
  • Work closely with stakeholders across Fleet Operations (including logistics, vehicle prep and remarketing) and other departments like Sales, Tech, and Finance to ensure alignment and smooth execution
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks and issues within the programme, proactively finding solutions to keep projects on track
  • Establish and manage programme governance, providing regular, clear, and concise status reports and KPIs to the Fleet Operations Director and other senior leaders
  • Drive process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve the customer experience within our fleet operations
  • Manage dependencies between projects within the programme, ensuring a coordinated and effective approach to delivery
  • Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards

Qualifications

  • 2 – 5 years proven experience in programme or complex project management, preferably within an operations, logistics, supply chain, or automotive environment
  • Experience within a leasing or automotive business is desirable
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively at all levels of the business
  • A track record of successfully delivering business-critical projects in a fast-paced, high-growth environment
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a talent for breaking down complex problems into manageable actions
  • A process-oriented mindset with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence
  • The ability to multitask, supported by strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise effectively
  • A demonstrable interest in our mission and the transition to clean energy/EVs
