Payments Technical Consultant – 12 month contract Remote
My client are looking for a payments consultant with technical experience and understanding in card schemes particularly with respect to merchants and/or acquirers. The role is focussed on resolving/troubleshooting and remediation with respect to card acceptance.
Responsibilities
- Be the main point of contact with customers with respect to acceptance issues, investigate the cause, and drive the resolution of issues.
- Focus on POS and Ecommerce acceptance; experience in these areas is preferred.
- Manage multiple customers and issues simultaneously, applying project management skills.
Qualifications
- Fully understands the full card payment process.
- Technical experience and understanding in card schemes, particularly related to merchants and/or acquirers.
- Experience with EMV, card schemes, card acceptance, acquirers, acquiring, merchants, and related payments concepts.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a remote environment.
The role is working fully remotely.
