We are seeking an Enterprise Data Modeller with a deep experience in designing data models for large-scale cloud-based data products. This role will be responsible for defining and governing the enterprise data model for the Wholesale Banking business. The modeller will develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models, ensuring they align with business processes, data product requirements, and target-state cloud architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create end-to-end enterprise data models covering and associated reference data.
- Ensure models adhere to modelling standards (3NF, data vault, dimensional, or hybrid as required).
- Maintain clear lineage between business concepts, operational processes, and data entities.
- Engage senior business stakeholders, product owners, and domain SMEs to deeply understand business processes, life cycle events, and data flows.
- Translate business requirements into accurate and scalable data models.
- Identify gaps in current-state data structures and propose a target-state model that streamlines end-to-end processes.
- Define data entities, relationships, and canonical models used across data products, APIs, and analytical platforms.
- Establish modelling standards, metadata definitions, and business glossary entries.
- Ensure data model quality, consistency, reusability, and alignment with enterprise principles.
