My client are looking for an experience business developer /sales consultant to be responsible for driving my clients payment acceptance growth, through a direct to merchant sales approach, in key verticals within the UK (transport, hotels retail, airlines, restaurants) The role involves building and maintaining a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, engagement with merchants to drive client acceptance take-up, and collaboration with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales cycle is completed & is delivering key KPI’s in acceptance. Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. Candidates should have previous experience of selling to payment solutions to merchants ideally coming from a card payments background and previous experience at organisations like: Hybrid (mostly remote – option to go perm for right candidate if good after proving themselves) card payments, business development, sales, direct sales consultant, new business development, business developer, sales manager, direct merchant sale, payment sales)
