My client is looking for an experienced business developer/sales consultant to be responsible for driving payment acceptance growth through a direct to merchant sales approach in key verticals within the UK (transport, hotels, retail, airlines, restaurants). The role involves building and maintaining a robust pipeline of new sales opportunities, engaging with merchants to drive client acceptance take-up, and collaborating with internal stakeholders to ensure the sales cycle is completed and delivering key KPIs in acceptance.

Actively manages and escalates risk and customer-impacting issues within the day-to-day role to management. Candidates should have previous experience of selling payment solutions to merchants, ideally coming from a card payments background and previous experience at organisations like Elavon, Worldpay, Global Payments, Ayden, Cardnet, Planet Payments, Checkout, Nuvei, Barclaycard Payments.

The role is for 12 months. Hybrid (mostly remote - option to go permanent for the right candidate if good after proving themselves). Please send CV in the first instance to be considered. We are the preferred supplier to the client.
