We are scaling fast and we need high-performance appointment setters to put qualified meetings on the calendar. You won't be hunting for leads β we provide them. Your job is to turn them into conversations.
This is a phone-first, results-driven role. You'll be calling UK businesses β speaking directly with CTOs, Heads of Engineering, and senior decision-makers β generating interest in OctogleHire and booking qualified discovery calls for our senior team to close. Your success is measured by one thing: qualified meetings booked. We handle everything else.
What You'll Be Doing
- Outbound Calling
- Execute 100β200 dials per day from warm, pre-qualified lead lists we provide
- Reach decision-makers directly β no prospecting required
- Open conversations using proven scripts and call frameworks (full training provided)
- Appointment Setting
- Qualify leads based on hiring intent, urgency, and fit
- Book discovery calls directly into the sales team's calendar
- Ensure every booking is a genuine, qualified opportunity β quality over quantity
- CRM & Reporting
- Log all activity accurately and in real time
- Maintain clean lead records and track daily pipeline
- Report call outcomes, conversion rates, and booking stats

- Hungry β the earning potential here is real, but only for people who show up and dial
Earning Potential
Base + commission structure with monthly earnings of Β£2,500βΒ£5,000 based on qualified bookings confirmed by the sales team. Top performers in month one regularly hit the upper end. This isn't a capped role β output drives income. Payment is tied to confirmed qualified meetings. We define qualified clearly so there's no ambiguity.
