The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.
We are recruiting for a Project Manager (Rail Systems) to join us at Octavius. We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK. This role will specifically be to work on an exciting 2.5 year rail systems/E&P project based out of Bushey in Hertfordshire. This is an OLE driven role so strong experience and knowledge in this area would be advantageous.
Responsibilities
- Lead on the successful delivery of a project or portfolio of works in line with the Line of Sight.
- Taking overall accountability for delivering projects safely, that delight our customers, are of a high quality, within the financial targets set and in line with agreed programmes.
- Lead by example by engendering the collaborative culture throughout the Project Team, including suppliers and customers, ensuring that everyone works towards our common vision of a vibrant delivery mechanism that delivers on promises, chosen by customers and has safety at its core.
- You’ll work with a team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks.

About You
- Has worked on a broad section of rail disciplines including OLE/E&P, and can demonstrate a clear understanding in these areas.
- Experienced at working within a Rail environment.
- Experience managing projects or project sections up to £10 million.
- SMSTS competent.
- PTS and other identified training.
- Good level of IT skills.
- Knowledge of programming and Conditions of contract (NEC, ICE, etc.).
You’ll Bring
- An industry recognised qualification such as a Degree, HND, NVQ or similar in a Civil Engineering/Building or related course.
- Alternatively, has gained similar qualities through work related training and experience.
