At Octavius Infrastructure, we are undertaking the meticulous replacement of the roof at London Waterloo, one of Network Rail's busiest stations, with millions of passengers passing through every week. Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.
- Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour to meet project milestones.
- Monitor site activities to ensure compliance with design specifications, health & safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate site records, including daily diaries, safety inspections, and progress reports.
- Support the Site Manager and Project Manager in delivering the project to time and budget.
- Lead site briefings, toolbox talks, and promote a positive safety culture.
- Liaise with stakeholders including Network Rail, local authorities, and the community where required.
What You'll Bring
- Proven experience supervising construction works in rail stations, buildings, or rail-related civil engineering environments.
- Valid PTS (Personal Track Safety) certification and Controller of Site Safety (COSS) ticket.
- Strong understanding of construction methods, sequencing, and temporary works.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changing priorities.
- Competency in using digital tools for reporting and record-keeping.
- Full UK driving licence.
- SSSTS certification.
