We are recruiting for a Quality Assurance Coordinator to join us at Octavius. This position is a 12 month fixed term contract for maternity cover. Octavius is a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Developing and improving the framework quality management plan to meet the evolving needs of multiple frameworks.
- Ensuring compliance with the Framework Management Quality Plan.
- Supporting teams with quality-related documentation (PQP, ITP, QC Sheets).
- Managing Non Conformance Reporting and extracting data for analysis.
- Maintaining the framework quality dashboard and collating data to analyse trends and root causes.
- Assisting with audits, site surveillances, and compliance processes.
- Supporting the completion of project documentation, health & safety files, and engineering compliance certification.
- Coordinating document distribution to clients, stakeholders, and approval bodies.
Qualifications & Experience
- Experience in quality assurance or a similar role within civil engineering or construction.
- Strong understanding of quality management systems and compliance processes.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to manage documentation, analyse data, and support audits.
- Familiarity with frameworks such as PQP, ITP, and QC Sheets is desirable.
- Experience with multiple document systems including Procore, ProjectWise, and AssetWise.
