Overview
Octavius Infrastructure is thrilled to be a key player in the Southern Renewals Enterprise (SRE), contributing to the delivery of Electrification and Plant (E&P) renewals across the Southern region. The SRE is responsible for the Southern Region\’s renewals programme (CP7 & CP8), aiming to develop, mobilise, and deliver a £9 billion programme between 2024 and 2034 through collective expertise. We are expanding our Southern Renewals Enterprise Commercial team and are on the lookout for a skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to support a £50+ million package of work over the next few years.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the robust commercial management of a variety of projects, including overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.
- You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments.
- You will work on your own project and collaborate closely with the other site\’s commercial team to look for efficiencies.

You’ll Bring
- Practical experience in a quantity surveying role in a civil engineering environment, working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
- NEC Contracts experience is essential.
- Experience working on a Network Rail Framework is advantageous.
