The predicted salary is between 43200 - 72000 £ per year.
We are recruiting for two Senior Quantity Surveyors to join us here at Octavius. We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK. We are working on a number of large rail projects in addition to a number of Access for All schemes in the North West and Central region. Due to the large geographical reach of the region, we would be open to candidates living and commuting to the North West of England, the West Midlands, and Buckinghamshire / Greater London.
Responsibilities
- You will be responsible for the robust commercial management of a variety of projects.
- This includes overseeing financial performance, managing costs, conducting procurement processes, and maintaining accurate financial logs and reports.
- You will work closely with customers and stakeholders to support successful project delivery, ensuring compliance with contractual terms and achieving business plan commitments.
- You will work on your own project and collaborate closely with the other site's commercial team to look for efficiencies.

About You
- Practical experience in a quantity surveying role in a civil engineering environment, working for a Tier 1 or Tier 2 contractor.
- NEC Contracts experience is essential.
- Experience working on a Network Rail Framework is advantageous.
You’ll Bring…
- Degree qualified in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related course (or equivalent qualification / relevant experience).
- Hold or working towards a professional membership with a recognised and relevant professional body i.e. Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) or Chartered Institution of Civil Engineering Surveyors (CICES) (desirable).
- CSCS card holder (desirable).
