We are recruiting for a Vehicle Restraint System (VRS) Operative to join Octavius Region Civil Engineering (ORCE). We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK. You will be working on the repairs and installations of vehicle restraint systems, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our projects. You will work closely with other VRS operatives under the supervision of Gangers to support successful project delivery. Inexperienced applicants may be enrolled in an industry apprenticeship, taking approximately 1 year to complete.

A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as National Highways, Transport for London, and local authorities. Building strong relationships is crucial to our success.

About You
You are skilled in managing change, being flexible, responsive, and an effective problem solver. Qualifications and Experience
- General knowledge of Health and Safety
- Evidence of building effective relationships with teams
- Experience in a civil engineering environment
- General knowledge of Vehicle Restraint Systems or working on the highway (desirable)

- CSCS card holder (additional FISS accreditation desirable)
- LGV/HGV Licence (desirable)
- Underground service avoidance (desirable)
