About Navitas Engineering
Navitas Engineering specialises in railway electrification design. We have the experience and capability to provide professional design and project engineering support for both AC and DC railway electrification systems.
Role and Responsibilities
- Lead the design and engineering projects from feasibility to commissioning phases.
- Develop and manage electrical designs, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and oversee the work of junior engineers.
- Engage with clients and stakeholders to ensure project requirements are met.
- Ensure quality assurance, risk management, and adherence to safety standards throughout the project lifecycle.

About You
- Proficient use of industry standard electrical design tools.
- Experience in use of CAD software is preferable.
- Experience with ETAP, MicroStation, CDEGS, MATLAB and StrikeRisk for system modelling and analysis is preferable.
Your Qualifications and Experience
- Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Chartered Engineer status or actively working towards it.
- Proven experience in the design of railway or energy related electrical systems.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
