You'll be experienced in managing complex infrastructure projects, with a strong background in stats diversions, Early Contractor Involvement (ECI), bridge demolition, temporary works, reinforced concrete structures, and major structural works. Your expertise will ensure successful delivery of this highāprofile scheme, and ideally, you'll bring experience working on National Highways projects to hit the ground running.

Responsibilities- Lead the delivery of the £20m M53 Bridge Replacement Scheme, ensuring the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.
- Manage complex structural works including bridge demolition, temporary works, reinforced concrete (RC) structures, and associated civil engineering activities.
- Oversee stats diversions and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) processes to optimise programme and cost outcomes.
- Develop and implement robust project strategies covering scope, schedules, budgets, and risk management to achieve project objectives.
- Collaborate closely with National Highways, local authorities, contractors, and supply chain partners to maintain strong stakeholder relationships and clear communication.
- Proactively identify and mitigate risks, implementing contingency plans to safeguard delivery and minimise disruption.
- Provide leadership and guidance to multidisciplinary teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor project performance, conduct regular reviews, and report progress, milestones, and KPIs to senior management and clients.
- Maintain accurate project documentation and ensure compliance with all contractual and regulatory requirements.
- Manage budgets and control costs, making strategic decisions to ensure financial viability and value for money.
- Proven experience in managing major highways and bridge projects, with a strong understanding of civil engineering principles and project management methodologies.
- Inādepth knowledge of structural works including bridge demolition, temporary works, reinforced concrete (RC) structures, and associated infrastructure.
- Familiarity with stats diversions and Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) processes, ensuring efficient planning and delivery.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate teams, build strong stakeholder relationships, and manage complex interfaces.
- Strong organisational and problemāsolving abilities, with a keen eye for detail and the capacity to manage multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in project management tools and frameworks, with a focus on delivering projects safely, on time, and within budget.
- Previous experience working on National Highways schemes and ideally with a Tier One contracting organisation.
- A bachelor's degree/qualification in a relevant field such as civil engineering, construction management, or project management.
- Extensive experience in senior project management, particularly on major highways, bridge replacement, and structural works projects.
- Strong understanding of temporary works, reinforced concrete structures, and demolition methodologies.
- Proven ability to lead largeāscale projects (Ā£10māĀ£20m+) from initiation through to completion, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.
