Kickstart your engineering career with Octavius Infrastructure as an Apprentice Engineer. This is an exciting opportunity to gain hands‑on experience while working alongside experienced professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment. You will work on the Connect Plus framework delivering critical highways and infrastructure works.
Responsibilities
- Assist with method statements, conduct site visits and gradually take on supervisory tasks.
- Support various functions within the Framework team ensuring safe and efficient delivery of on‑site projects.
- Contribute to design management and cost estimating, ensuring customer needs are met.
- Build strong relationships with project team, suppliers and local communities in meetings, workshops, and collaborative culture.
- Occasional travel, periods working away from home, and scheduled night working may be required.
Qualifications
- Grade 4 or above in English and Maths (GCSE level).
- UCAS points sufficient for a Degree Level Apprenticeship.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Detail‑oriented, problem‑solving abilities.
- Full UK licence.
