We are recruiting for a Vehicle Restraint System (VRS) Operative to join Octavius Region Civil Engineering (ORCE). We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.

You'll be working on assisting with repairs and installations of vehicle restraint systems, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our projects. You'll work closely with other VRS operatives under the supervision of Gangers to support successful project delivery. Inexperienced applicants may be enrolled in an industry apprenticeship, taking approximately 1 year to complete.

You'll work with a team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as National Highways, Transport for London, and local authorities. Building strong relationships is crucial to our success.

  • General knowledge of Health and Safety

  • Experience in a civil engineering environment
  • General knowledge of Vehicle Restraint Systems or working on the highway (desirable)
