We are recruiting for a Vehicle Restraint System (VRS) Operative to join Octavius Region Civil Engineering (ORCE). We are a leading civil engineering organisation delivering safe, sustainable, and efficient transport solutions across the UK.
Responsibilities
- Assisting with repairs and installations of vehicle restraint systems, ensuring the safety and efficiency of our projects.
- Working closely with other VRS operatives under the supervision of Gangers to support successful project delivery.
- Inexperienced applicants may be enrolled in an industry apprenticeship, taking approximately 1 year to complete.

- A team of highly motivated, dedicated professionals delivering projects across a variety of frameworks with clients such as National Highways, Transport for London, and local authorities.
- Building strong relationships is crucial to our success.

Required skills and qualifications
- General knowledge of Health and Safety.

- General knowledge of Vehicle Restraint Systems or working on the highway (desirable).
Qualifications
- Full driving licence.
- CSCS card holder (additional FISS accreditation desirable).
- LGV/HGV Licence (desirable).
- Underground service avoidance (desirable).
- 360 Tracked Excavator (desirable).
- Vehicle restraint system specific tickets (desirable).
