What you'll do
- Support project teams with the safe and efficient installation, testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Assist with the development and implementation of electrical methodologies.
- Gain practical experience through a combination of site and office-based activities.
- Work alongside Site Managers, Project Managers, Project Engineers and Engineering Managers.
- Build positive relationships with colleagues, clients, suppliers and other project stakeholders.
- Bring fresh ideas, energy and an inquisitive approach to our projects.
- Develop your understanding of safety, quality and the delivery of electrical engineering solutions.
- Take part in activities that promote careers within construction and engineering to local communities.

What we're looking for
- Currently studying towards a degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related discipline, with a placement year included as part of your course.
- Interested in developing a career within infrastructure, construction or engineering.
- Proactive, adaptable and keen to apply your academic knowledge in a practical setting.
- A confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with others.
- Inquisitive and motivated to take on new challenges and opportunities.
- Passionate about problem-solving, safety and quality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment across both site and office settings.
- Willing to travel and stay away from home when required to support our projects.
- Ideally, the holder of a full UK driving licence due to the site-based nature of the placement.
