Octavius Infrastructure, a leader in rail infrastructure services, is seeking an Electrification & Plant Site Manager to join our Southern Renewals Enterprise team. In this key role, you will be responsible for the safe, high‑quality, and efficient delivery of electrification and plant renewals and enhancements across the Southern region. You'll coordinate and oversee site teams, ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards, and work closely with internal and external stakeholders to support successful project outcomes.
Responsibilities
- Site Delivery: Oversee day‑to‑day site activities, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to required standards.
- Planning & Coordination: Support the planning, supervision, and delivery of installation, testing, and commissioning activities.
- Quality & Compliance: Ensure works meet design, industry, and company standards, addressing issues proactively.
- Progress & Reporting: Monitor site performance, maintain accurate documentation, and support timely project close‑out.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Be a key point of contact for clients, suppliers, and internal teams, ensuring clear communication.
- Team Support: Guide and support Engineers, Supervisors, and Operatives, promoting a positive team culture.
- Safety Leadership: Champion a strong safety culture and ensure full compliance with health, safety, and environmental requirements.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve processes, productivity, and project outcomes.

You’ll bring…
- HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
- SMSTS competent & 18th Edition qualified
- Experience in electrification and plant delivery within the rail industry, ideally on multi‑disciplinary projects
- Knowledge of High Voltage (HV) Feeders, associated equipment, and relevant standards/regulations
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Good commercial awareness and understanding of contract principles (NEC, ICE, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant project management software
- Full UK driving licence
