We are working with a highly regarded and successful boutique equity investment manager who are looking for an experienced Market Data Specialist to join their team, focusing on vendor management and partnership agreements.
This is a unique role which sits within the front-office investment team, giving you the opportunity not only to assist with the procurement and management of data but also to work closely with the Head of Data Strategy on the research side. You will be involved in data-related projects, supporting analysts and portfolio managers by using market data to generate insights and help drive investment decisions.
This role would really suit someone with 3–8 years of experience working in a market data–related position, concentrating on contract negotiation and vendor partnerships, who is now looking to expand their role beyond the traditional data space and gain front-office exposure by working alongside the investment team.
In addition to working on contract renewals and procurement, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate directly with the investment team in a research assistant capacity, using market data to support analysis and portfolio construction.
