We are currently partnering with a fast-growing international investment advisory platform that works with leading mid-market private equity managers across Europe and the US. The firm supports high-quality growth equity and buyout funds in raising capital from sophisticated institutional investors globally. Due to continued growth, they are looking to hire a Capital Raising Associate / Institutional Sales Associate to join their London team. This is a highly commercial opportunity for an ambitious fundraising or sales professional looking to build long-term relationships with family offices, institutional investors, and private market allocators across Europe and North America.
The Opportunity
This role offers direct exposure to private equity fundraising, institutional investor coverage, and international business development within the alternative investments market. Working closely with senior distribution and investor relations professionals, you will support capital raising initiatives for a range of European and US mid-market private equity and growth equity funds.
Role Responsibilities
- Supporting fundraising campaigns for private equity funds and co-investment opportunities
- Developing and maintaining relationships with family offices, institutional investors, endowment funds, and UHNW investors
- Conducting outbound sales and investor outreach to generate new fundraising opportunities
- Identifying, qualifying, and onboarding prospective investors
- Coordinating investor meetings, roadshows, and due diligence processes
- Managing investor communications, presentations, and fundraising materials
- Maintaining CRM systems and tracking fundraising pipelines
- Working closely with private equity managers to position investment strategies effectively to investors
- Supporting business development initiatives across Europe and North America
Requirements
- 2–5 years’ experience within sales, business development, capital raising, private markets fundraising, investor relations, or alternative investments sales
- Candidates MUST have outbound sales or business development experience
- Experience engaging with family offices, institutional investors, endowment funds, pension funds, UHNW investors, or similar investor groups is highly desirable
- An interest in private equity, growth equity, venture capital, and alternative investments
