Our client is a leading global asset manager looking for a sharp, driven individual to join their Market Data & Information team in London. This role offers a unique opportunity to work for someone genuinely interested in investment to work directly alongside trading teams in a hands-on exciting position.
You’ll work in a small, collaborative team with plenty of variety day-to-day. You’ll deliver core processes dependably and look for ways to make them even better, contributing ideas that help them evolve. The environment is fast paced with exciting intersection of data, technology and investing where you will help contribute to a high-level investment team.
What You’ll Do- Work alongside vendors: Oversee contracts, relationships, and payments, and support usage reviews to ensure the firm gets maximum value from its data providers.
- Refine processes: Handle daily workflows accurately while identifying opportunities to streamline or automate them.
- Enable investment insight: Ensure timely access to research and data, maintain trackers, and handle ad-hoc information requests.
- Support key projects: Contribute to strengthening data infrastructure and enhancing the team’s overall impact.
- Reliable, detail-focused, and able to deliver consistently in a fast-moving environment.
- Clear communicator who enjoys collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
- Curious and motivated to explore tools and technologies including automation, AI, and data visualisation.
- Experience in financial services, investment operations, or research support is beneficial but not required.
- Knowledge of Bloomberg, Refinitiv, or FactSet is a plus.
