The team operates with a long-term horizon, investing across all-cap UK equities as sector generalists, following a quality-growth investment philosophy. With an average holding period of 5+ years, this role would suit candidates who think like owners, and are strongly aligned with long-term value creation.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain financial models, perform valuation analysis, and assess competitive positioning
  • Engage directly with company management teams, industry experts, and other stakeholders
  • Communicate investment ideas and recommendations clearly to the broader investment team
  • Monitor existing holdings and update views based on new information or changes in market dynamics

Requirements

  • ~3 years’ buyside equity investment experience, ideally within a long-only asset manager.
  • Some exposure to UK equities, either as a dedicated UK specialist or as part of a broader mandate (e.g. pan-European) with UK names forming part of coverage
  • CFA Charterholder (having successfully completed all 3 levels, ideally with first-time passes)
  • Demonstrable interest and passion for equity investing, evidenced through participation in university investment societies, personal account investing (and research), reading core-texts within value investing (i.e. Benjamin Graham’s, Intelligent Investor), or similar.
  • Demonstrated ability to originate and articulate high-conviction investment ideas
  • Strong financial modelling and valuation skills, with a deep understanding of accounting and business analysis
  • Candidates must have right to work in the UK
