Junior Data Engineer – £50,000–£55,000 – London (Hybrid/On-Site)

Industry: Tech / Data / Start-up We are partnering with a fast-growing, tech-driven startup to hire a Junior Data Engineer for their London-based team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 1–2 years of experience who’s eager to work across the full data lifecycle — from ingestion and transformation to automation and deployment — in a highly technical, agile environment. The Role You’ll join a collaborative data engineering team helping build a modern, cloud-native data platform . Working directly with experienced engineers, you\’ll gain hands-on exposure to tools like Python, AWS Lambda, S3, Glue, Athena, SQS, Docker , and more. Your responsibilities will include: Designing and maintaining data pipelines using AWS and Python Supporting analytics, reporting, and internal tools through clean, reliable data Applying best practices in testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code Writing well-documented, production-ready code in a collaborative environment Learning and adapting quickly to new tools and workflows What We\’re Looking For: 1–2 years\’ experience in a data engineering or technical role Strong programming fundamentals, ideally in Python Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) Interest in topics like containers, messaging systems, and scalable data workflows An eagerness to learn, take ownership, and contribute to a growing team Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Why Apply?
