Octavius Finance is working with a well-respected buy-side firm seeking an experienced Equity Execution Trader to join their Global Equities team. The fund runs a sophisticated, high-performing investment platform with a significant international portfolio. This is an excellent opportunity for an execution specialist with strong technical ability and exceptional communication skills to contribute to a highly respected team.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner closely with portfolio management teams to manage execution risks and deliver solutions that implement investment views across global equities markets, covering both cash instruments and derivatives.
- Utilise a range of execution methods (voice and electronic) to ensure efficient and effective trade implementation.
- Work directly with portfolio managers to manage execution risk and support the expression of the team’s investment views.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, brokers, and liquidity providers.
- Generate market insights and deliver valuable analysis to internal stakeholders.

- Strong background in EMEA cash equities and derivatives.
- Passion for leveraging data to gain insight and improve decision-making.
