We are currently recruiting a Community Support Worker to join our supported living service at Hawthorn Cottage in Oakham. This role involves providing high-quality care and support to adults with a learning disability and/or autism, enabling them to live as independently as possible within a supported living environment.

Location: Hawthorn Cottage, Park Lane, Oakham, Rutland, LE15 6PG

Hours: Up to 37 hours per week

Shift Pattern: 7:00am - 10:00pm, Monday to Sunday

Contract: flexible rota (5 days out of 7, including alternate weekends)

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personal care, including washing and dressing
  • Supporting with medication administration
  • Meal preparation and nutritional support
  • Offering practical and emotional support in daily living
  • Promoting independence, dignity, and choice at all times

About You

  • Caring, compassionate, and reliable
  • Able to work flexibly across a 7-day rota
  • Comfortable providing personal care and medication support
  • Experience in care is desirable but not essential - full training will be provided
