Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of a thriving nursery setting and help deliver outstanding care and education for young children.

As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the setting. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality childcare, supporting staff development, maintaining compliance, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the Nursery Manager with the daily management of the nursery
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external agencies
  • Lead, motivate and support the nursery team
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and child welfare are maintained
  • Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
  • Monitor quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement across the setting
  • Promote positive outcomes for all children
Requirements
  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in a UK-recognised Early Years qualification
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a nursery environment
  • Strong communication, organisational and team management skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional childcare and early years education
