We are currently recruiting for an experienced Damp & Mould Surveyor to join a newly established specialist damp and mould team working within the housing sector.
- Location: Loughborough, Leicestershire – Southfield Road, LE11 2TU
- Rate: £23.00 per hour
- Start: ASAP
- Work Schedule: 1 Day Office / 4 Days On Site
- Own Vehicle Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out damp and mould surveys across residential properties
- Diagnose and identify causes of damp and mould issues
- Specify required remedial works and produce clear reports
- Manage remedial works through to completion using in-house teams and external contractors
- Take protimeter readings and record humidity levels during property inspections
- Ensure works are completed in line with housing standards and legislation
Essential Requirements:
- Proven experience conducting damp and mould surveys
- Strong knowledge of Awaab’s Law and Housing Health and Safety Rating System (HHSRS)
- Ability to confidently identify, diagnose, and recommend solutions for damp and mould problems
- Experience using protimeter equipment to take moisture readings
- Experience managing works through contractors and internal teams
- Full driving licence and access to your own vehicle
