We are seeking an experienced Children's Family Support Worker to join its dedicated Short Breaks Service team. This is an excellent opportunity to work directly with vulnerable children and their families, helping to ensure they receive the support, services and interventions needed to achieve positive outcomes.
Croxteth Children's Centre, Liverpool
£17.00 per hour
35 Hours Per Week (Monday – Friday)
Immediate Start Available
Key Responsibilities:- Complete Short Breaks Assessments and Carers Needs Assessments.
- Undertake Short Break Reviews and requests for care and support.
- Ensure the voice of the child is captured and reflected within assessments and reviews.
- Signpost families to appropriate services and support networks, including Family Hubs and community resources.
- Participate in the team's duty rota.
- Support families to implement routines, boundaries and positive parenting approaches.
- Assist with communication plans and positive behaviour support strategies.
- Work collaboratively with children, families and multi-agency professionals to improve outcomes.
- Experience working with vulnerable children, young people and their families.
- Strong assessment, communication and report-writing skills.
- Ability to build positive relationships with children, families and professionals.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
