We are looking for a skilled Gardener with genuine horticultural knowledge to join a friendly, passionate team in a beautiful nursery setting. All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.
- Pay Rate: £15.91 per hour umbrella
- Hours: 37 hours per week - Mon–Thurs 07:30–15:30 | Fri 07:30–15:00
- Duration: Minimum 2 months, with potential to extend through to the end of the growing season
About the Role:
- Potting up plants and caring for nursery stock
- Watering plants and hanging baskets
- If experienced — making up hanging baskets for display
- Assisting in the Botanical Gardens: weeding, pruning, grass cutting, and supporting volunteer gardening sessions
Requirements:
- Horticultural knowledge and practical gardening experience
- Full UK driving licence (essential)
- A proactive, friendly approach and genuine love for plants and gardens
