We are looking for a passionate Gardener to join the team and help maintain the city’s parks and green spaces. You’ll be working across beautiful locations including Avenham Park and Moor Park, ensuring these areas are welcoming and well cared for. A full driving licence is beneficial but not essential.

Role Details:

  • £13.47 per hour
  • 36.25 hours/week out of season (7.30–15.15)
  • 42 hours/week in season (7.30–16.30)
  • Monday to Friday
  • Temporary ongoing contract

Key Responsibilities:

  • Mowing, strimming, pruning, and planting
  • Keeping pathways, borders, and park areas tidy
  • Litter picking and general grounds maintenance
  • Working as part of a small, friendly team to keep Preston’s parks looking their best
