An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Education Finance Team at Conwy County Borough Council as a Finance Accountancy Officer. In this key role, you will provide a comprehensive range of financial support services to Headteachers and Governing Bodies. The team delivers essential financial services, including budget setting, monitoring, and reporting, as part of a Service Level Agreement (SLA) to schools across the county.
- Location: Conway Road, Colwyn Bay, Conwy County Borough (Hybrid - 3 days office-based)
- Hours: Full-time, 37 hours per week
- Pay: £14.36 per hour
- Contract: 3 months+
Key Responsibilities
- Budget setting, monitoring, and reporting for schools
- Financial management support and advice to Headteachers and Governing Bodies
- Delivery of additional finance services in line with SLA agreements

- Strong financial and analytical skills

- Good communication and interpersonal abilities
- Experience working in a finance environment (preferably within education or public sector finance)
