We are recruiting an experienced Senior Domestic Abuse Manager to join our Children's Safeguarding / Family Safeguarding service. You will manage, lead, and develop a team of operational domestic abuse workers, delivering probation-related services in line with the needs of the Swindon Children's Safeguarding Team, relevant legislation, policies, standards, and service objectives.
Location: Civic Campus, Euclid Street, Swindon, SN1 2JG
Contract: 12-month +
Hours: 37 per week
Rate: £42.00 per hour (umbrella)
Start: ASAP
Key Responsibilities- Manage and maintain programmes and activities to meet safeguarding requirements and performance targets
- Lead and manage organisational change within service delivery
- Work closely with social services teams and senior managers to contribute to team and service plans
- Support the development of strategies, procedures, and best practice
- Evaluate performance and contribute to continuous service improvement
- Support staff development, supervision, and effective workforce practice
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholders
- Senior-level experience in domestic abuse, safeguarding, probation, or family safeguarding services
- Strong background in team leadership, risk management, and multi-agency working
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills
