Overview
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead a range of building and construction projects identified by the board. The role involves overseeing feasibility, design, procurement and delivery, ensuring all projects are completed on time, within budget and to specification. The successful candidate will attend the Derby office at least two days per week initially to build relationships and gain a strong understanding of the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage delivery of construction, refurbishment, adaptation and demolition projects.
- Lead multi‑disciplinary teams through all project stages.
- Prepare specifications, appoint consultants and manage tender processes.
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, acting as Principal Designer when required.
- Maintain high professional standards and provide informed technical advice.
Requirements
- Strong experience managing construction or building‑related projects.
- Knowledge of CDM regulations and experience acting as Principal Designer.
- Ability to manage consultants, tenders and multi‑disciplinary teams.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
