Are you an experienced Early Years professional looking to take the next step in your career? We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Deputy Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of a thriving nursery setting and help deliver outstanding care and education for young children.

Location: Salford, Greater Manchester (M7)

Type: Permanent | Full-Time

The Role: As Deputy Nursery Manager, you will work closely with the Nursery Manager to ensure the smooth and effective operation of the setting. You will play a key role in delivering high-quality childcare, supporting staff development, maintaining compliance, and creating a safe, nurturing environment where children can thrive.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Nursery Manager with the daily management of the nursery
  • Build strong relationships with parents, carers and external agencies
  • Lead, motivate and support the nursery team
  • Ensure the highest standards of safeguarding and child welfare are maintained
  • Deliver engaging learning experiences in line with the EYFS framework
  • Monitor quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement across the setting
  • Promote positive outcomes for all children

Requirements:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in a UK-recognised Early Years qualification
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of the EYFS framework
  • Excellent understanding of safeguarding legislation and best practice
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience within a nursery environment
  • Strong communication, organisational and team management skills
  • Passion for delivering exceptional childcare and early years education
