We are seeking a highly professional and experienced Grounds Maintenance Manager to lead and support our Grounds Maintenance service for a period of up to six months. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and qualified individual to oversee a large operational workforce, drive service standards, and make a meaningful impact within a fast-paced local authority environment.
Location: Wade Road Depot, Basingstoke, Hampshire, RG24 8PL
Rate: £43.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Contract: 6 Months +
Working Arrangement: Fully On-Site (No Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the Grounds Maintenance team across the borough
- Ensure high-quality service delivery and compliance with standards
- Conduct regular site visits and oversee operational activities
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, contractors, and the public
- Quickly learn and adapt to internal systems and processes
You will have:
