We are currently recruiting for an experienced Advice & Support Lead (Human Resources).
The Role: As an Advice & Support Lead, you will provide professional HR advice, guidance and end-to-end employee relations case management to managers across the organisation. You will act as a trusted HR advisor, supporting managers with a range of complex employee relations and sickness absence matters and ensuring that cases are managed fairly, consistently and in line with employment legislation and organisational policy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice and guidance to managers on employee relations matters
- Manage HR cases from initial advice through to resolution
- Advise on employment legislation, HR policies and procedures
- Support managers with sickness absence and attendance cases
- Provide advice on disciplinary, grievance, capability and performance matters
- Work collaboratively with HR Business Partners and Legal Services on complex cases
- Support appeals and Employment Tribunal processes
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive case records
- Provide coaching and guidance to managers on HR procedures
About You:
- CIPD Level 5 or equivalent, or a degree/equivalent qualification in HR or a related discipline
- Strong experience working within Human Resources / Employee Relations
- Proven experience providing HR advice to managers
- Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish
- Good knowledge of UK employment legislation
- Experience dealing with sickness absence, disciplinary, grievance and capability cases
