Home-based, working 40 hours per week across 5 days (Monday to Saturday), 8am – 8pm, working 1 in 4 Saturdays.
1 day of overtime per month = £3,000 additional per year; 2 days of overtime per month = £5,000 additional per year, completely optional – more flexibility, more reward.

- Job Responsibilities for the Mobile Vehicle Technician role
- Servicing and repairing vehicles (including EVs) at the customer’s selected location, e. g. driveway or office car park.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
- Diagnose and repair vehicle problems, including engine, transmission, brake, suspension, and electrical issues.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve complex issues.
- Communicate with customers about vehicle issues and repair recommendations.
- Payment handling through card transactions.
- Keep up to date with the latest automotive technology and repair techniques.
- Keep accurate records of all work performed and parts used.
- What you’ll need to be considered for the Mobile Vehicle Technician role
- Must have a minimum Level 2 qualification in light vehicle maintenance and repair, or ideally a Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Must have a minimum of 2 years’ post-qualification hands‑on experience with vehicles, either in a workshop or a mobile vehicle role.
- The ability to work independently, make decisions on the go, and follow procedures.
- A customer‑focused approach.
- Must have a full UK driving licence – max 6 points, no bans.
