Job Description Roadside Technician NIGHTS (Field based) providing roadside assistance for a national breakdown company with over 15 million members. Great salary, benefits, overtime and bonus opportunities.\Permanent / Full time role\n Shift and schedule for the Roadside Technician role \n \n40 hours per week between 6am and 12pm, Monday to Sunday. Shifts known 4 months in advance. Flexi and / or optional fixed overtime at £30 per hour. All hours start and stop from home, as soon as you start the van.\n Benefits for the for the Roadside Technician role \n \n \n Overtime \n Bonus scheme. \n 23 days plus bank holidays (rising to 25 with service). \n Up to 6.5% matched pension contributions. \n Life Insurance cover up to 4x your salary. \n Access to a broad range of career progression opportunities and industry leading training. \n Colleague share scheme. \n Car salary sacrifice scheme - includes electric vehicle options after 12 months. \n Wellbeing support 24/7. \n \n Job Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician role \n \n \n Attend roadside breakdowns and assess vehicle faults quickly and accurately. \n \n \n Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside, including battery replacements, wheel changes, and minor engine fixes. \n \n What you'll need to a be considered for the Roadside Technician role \n \n \n Must have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent) \n Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands on experience with vehicles.
