We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a busy dealership workshop in Walton-on-Thames. Applicants must hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent, have relevant workshop experience, a Full UK Driving Licence and the right to work in the UK.
Job Details:
- Location: Walton-on-Thames
- Salary: £37,000 basic
- OTE: Up to £44,320 uncapped
- Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm – 40 hours per week. 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:30am–12:30pm

Vehicle Technician Role:
- Carry out servicing and scheduled vehicle maintenance
- Complete mechanical and electrical repairs to required standards
- Diagnose basic mechanical and electrical faults
- Carry out vehicle health checks and identify additional work
- Complete pre-delivery inspections on new and used vehicles
- Carry out authorised warranty repairs and complete accurate write-ups
- Road test vehicles and ensure all work is completed to a high standard
Vehicle Technician Requirements:
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent – essential
- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Mechanic
- Strong vehicle servicing, maintenance and repair skills
- Basic mechanical and electrical diagnostic capability
- Full UK Driving Licence – essential
- Diagnostic, MOT and Electric Vehicle experience is advantageous but not essential
- Previous manufacturer or brand experience is desirable but not essential
- Self-motivated with strong attention to detail and a team-focused approach
- Right to work in the UK
