This role suits a Business Development Manager seeking a long term opportunity. This role is focused on securing long-term partnerships with organisations that manage vehicle fleets including delivery and logistics companies, car rental providers, corporate vehicle pools, and fleet operators. You will play a key role in winning new business while strengthening and expanding existing client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, target, and secure new fleet service partnerships across multiple sectors
- Proactively approach new clients and convert opportunities into long-term contracts
- Build, Manage, and grow key existing customer relationships, maximising account value
- Develop tailored commercial proposals aligned to client fleet maintenance and repair needs
- Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and pitch through to negotiation and close
- Work closely with operational teams to ensure service delivery meets client expectations
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and emerging fleet requirements
- Deliver against agreed revenue, margin, and growth targets
Requirements:
- Proven Automotive industry experience, ideally within vehicle maintenance, repairs, fleet services, or aftersales
- Strong track record of winning new business and developing B2B client relationships
- Experience selling into fleet operators, logistics firms, rental companies, or corporate fleets is highly desirable
- Commercially astute with excellent negotiation and influencing skills
- Confident communicator with the ability to build trust at all levels
- Self-driven, organised, and comfortable working independently
- Full UK driving licence
