Skills and experience: Minimum Level 3 qualification, or equivalent, in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair. Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or Mechanic is ideal, although brand-qualified Technicians will also be considered.
Job responsibilities for the Diagnostic Technician role:
- Carry out complex diagnostic, warranty, and repair work in line with manufacturer standards.
- Use diagnostic tools and software to identify, investigate, and resolve hard-to-find vehicle faults.
- Complete EV work, where qualified, and carry out hydraulic repairs safely and efficiently.
- Support accurate digital write-ups, job card completion, and clear recording of technical findings and parts requirements.
- Assist Apprentice Technicians with development where required, supporting a high-performing workshop team.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, first-time fix performance, and customer satisfaction.
