The Role – Tyre Technician
- Tyre Care & Fitting: Carrying out safe and accurate tyre replacements, balancing, and puncture repairs on consumer cars and vans.
- Component Adjustment: Removing and refitting relevant wheels, valves, and tracking components using proper workshop tools.
- Fault Communication: Identifying additional vehicle safety defects or tyre wear issues and notifying both management and customers.
- Vehicle Preservation: Ensuring all client vehicles remain completely clean of workshop dirt, oil, or marks after tyre service tasks are completed.
- Digital Logging: Maintaining strict operational documentation on job cards in line with regional company policies.
About You
- Technical Experience: At least 2 years of tyre fitting experience or a formal automotive apprenticeship.
- Licencing: A full, clean UK Driving Licence held for a minimum of 6 months.
- Industry Training: A qualification in an automotive field is highly desirable.
- Workspace Style: Ability to manage multiple tasks independently or cooperate effectively inside a high-volume, fast-paced commercial environment.
