Service Manager role for a busy main dealership aftersales department, suited to an experienced manager who can drive strong workshop performance, deliver exceptional customer service and ensure smooth day-to-day service operations. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with a strong salary package, bonus potential, excellent training and career development benefits.
Applicants must have the right to work in the UK and hold a full UK driving licence.
Pay / salary: up to £35,000 basic per annum, plus performance-based bonus, OTE £40,000 per annum
Job type: Permanent / full-time role
Shift and schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday's when required

Skills and experience:
- Previous experience as a Service Manager / Aftersales Manager within a main dealership or automotive service environment
Job Responsibilities for the Service Manager role:
- Manage the daily operations of the service department and coordinate workload to achieve business targets efficiently
- Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain high standards across the service department
- Lead, motivate and develop the service team, including technicians, service advisors and front-of-house colleagues
- Drive aftersales performance, maximise revenue opportunities and manage overall departmental profitability
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety regulations, manufacturer standards, warranty processes and operational requirements
- Maintain high standards of workshop control, customer communication and departmental presentation
- Monitor service department performance and implement improvements where needed
