Full Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and professional On-Site Calibration Technician to join our team. Calibration involves setting up, checking, and maintaining instrumentation, gauges, meters, and other testing equipment to ensure they deliver accurate, precise, and reliable results. You will carry out calibration services at customer sites across the Midlands, typically no further south than Oxford and no further north than York. Ideally, you will be based in or around the Stafford area, within 20 miles. This role is essential in ensuring all calibrations are completed with accuracy, traceability, and efficiency, following established procedures and industry standards. A Calibration Technician is responsible for the calibration, routine inspection, testing, maintenance, and repair of instruments, meters, gauges, and other testing and measuring equipment.
Requirements:
- Proficient with basic computer applications
- Experience not required (full training provided)
- Knowledge of garage workshop or bodyshop environments is a must
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Able to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Willingness to travel within your region, with occasional overnight stays
