Our client, one of the UKβs fastest growing fast-fit automotive businesses, is currently looking for a MOT Technician based at their retail centre in Southampton.
As a MOT Technician, you will be responsible for completing MOTs on customers' cars, as well as other light repair work. To be applicable for this role, you must have a valid MOT licence and experience working as a Vehicle Technician. You do not need to be a qualified technician for this role; our client is happy to put you through your qualifications!
Location: Southampton
Pay / salary: Β£36,000 to Β£40,000 OTE: Uncapped and realistic Β£3,600
Shift and schedule: 08:30 β 17:30 Monday to Friday; Saturdays 08:30 β 16:00 on a rota with a day off in the week.

MOT Technician Responsibilities:
- Completing MOTs on customer vehicles
- Light and full-service work
- Fast fit duties as and when required
- Working with the rest of the workshop to achieve targets
- Working with other centre departments (Service, Parts, etc.) and ensuring that they are well informed
- Ensure the correct DVSA process is followed
To be a MOT Technician you will need:
- Valid UK driving licence β Essential
- Experience working as a Vehicle Technician (no qualifications needed)
- Experience as an MOT Tester
- A valid MOT licence β Essential
- Have a passion for the Automotive industry and want to develop further
- Want to learn and develop your knowledge of Hybrid cars
