Car Sales Executive

Location: Hull

Salary: £20,000 basic per annum + uncapped commission + company car, OTE £50,000 +

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am to 6pm, Saturdays 8.30am to 5pm with a day off in the week. Alternate Sundays are 10am to 4pm.

Car Sales Executive Role

  • Guide customers through the entire vehicle purchasing journey—from initial inquiry to final handover—offering tailored advice and securing the best market deals
  • Arrange test drives, showcase vehicle features, explain optional extras (financing, insurance, warranties), and upsell add-on products
  • Generate and qualify leads, proactively prospecting potential customers via phone, email, and showroom enquiries
  • Communicate effectively in a fast-paced showroom environment, ensuring high levels of organisation to manage appointments and follow-ups
  • Build trust and long-term rapport with customers through active listening, empathy, and responsive support

Car Sales Executive Requirements

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in car sales; dealership background preferred but not essential
  • A full UK driving licence
  • Resilience and target-driven mindset, with the ability to thrive in high-pressure, commission-based environments
  • Highly organised, adept at multitasking, follow-ups, and managing a pipeline of leads.
