  • Additional over-performance bonus 4k
  • Saturdays paid as x1.5 overtime 1 in 3 mornings
  • 40-hour working week Monday to Friday 8.30-5pm

We are currently recruiting for a Vehicle Technician to join a busy and successful main dealership in Hereford.

This is an excellent opportunity for a Level 3 qualified technician looking for a strong basic salary, additional earning potential and genuine manufacturer-backed career progression.

  • Vehicle Technician Role As a Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for:
  • Carrying out servicing and routine maintenance
  • Mechanical repairs across a range of vehicle systems
  • Fault finding and diagnostic work depending on experience
  • Completing more complex repairs at Senior/Diagnostic level
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and identifying additional work
  • Ensuring repairs are completed accurately and efficiently
  • Working towards strong first-time-fix standards
  • Completing all relevant job cards and workshop documentation
  • Maintaining manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Working closely with the wider workshop and aftersales team
  • Vehicle Technician Requirements
  • Level 3 Automotive qualification City & Guilds, NVQ or equivalent
  • Current experience working as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
  • Main dealer experience would be advantageous but isn't essential
  • MOT licence is desirable but not essential
  • Own set of tools
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Strong mechanical and fault-finding ability
  • Professional approach with a focus on quality workmanship
