Pay / salary: £41,600 OTE: Up to £61,000
Job type: Permanent / Full time role
Shift and schedule for the Roadside Technician role: 40 hours per week between 6am and 12pm, Monday to Sunday. Shifts known 4 months in advance. Flexi overtime at x1.5 and/or optional fixed overtime at £30 per hour. All hours start and stop from home, as soon as you start the van.

Job Responsibilities for the Roadside Technician role:
- Attend roadside breakdowns and assess vehicle faults quickly and accurately.
- Carry out mechanical and electrical repairs at the roadside, including battery replacements, wheel changes, and minor engine fixes.
- Use diagnostic tools to identify issues and determine repair options.
- Provide temporary solutions when full repair isn’t possible, ensuring member mobility.
- Advise members clearly on next steps, including recovery if needed.
- Work safely and efficiently in varied environments and conditions.
What you’ll need to be considered for the Roadside Technician role:
- Must have a minimum of Level 2 in light vehicle maintenance and repair or ideally Level 3 light vehicle maintenance and repair qualification (City & Guilds, IMI, NVQ, or equivalent).
- Must have a minimum 2-year post-qualification hands-on experience with vehicles, either in a workshop or mobile vehicle type role.
- A customer-focused approach.
- Must have a full UK driving licence - max 6 points, no bans.
